TEDS students laugh at something Dr. Woodbridge said.

Why TEDS?

Our mission. Trinity Evangelical Divinity School exists to serve the church of the living God by equipping servants for the work of the gospel of Christ worldwide. Within our community, you’ll be able to expand your understanding, explore different perspectives, ask tough questions, and experience relevant ministry — all deepening your faith and strengthening you for your calling.

Our students. Students at Trinity represent 50 denominations, 46 countries, 400 undergraduate institutions, and 42 states within the U.S. TEDS attracts men and women who all fall within the evangelical and biblical orthodoxy but hold different views inside those boundaries.

Our faculty. The TEDS faculty represents some of the finest thinkers, teachers, and mentors in evangelical scholarship today. They are more than professors and authors and scholars—they are practitioners. They are committed to and invested in their students’ growth, creating a relationship that is both professional and personal. As a TEDS student, you work directly with them to infuse your studies and ministry with a growing love for God.

Our programs. Our programs prepare students not just for a job, but for a lifetime of serving God’s kingdom. TEDS students are shaped, influenced, and challenged by their studies and experiences here — they gain the tools required for ministry in established churches and in small, new groups of believers. A TEDS education is not limited to helping you become a better scholar, it’s about finding hope and joy in the Word of the Lord, and knowing how to share that gift with others.
